Portraits are always about the person, but often the subject is part of a bigger picture. Whether in a studio or on location, one person or several people, one thing remains the same - everyone is unique and loves to be recognized for that fact. The truth is though, most people are fairly uncomfortable with being photographed. I've learned over the years that when you can engage with people on a personal level, add some creative direction and unique perspectives you get genuine emotions every time.
