About Corey

Corey's introduction to a career in photography came from being photographed as a Winter sports athlete while living in Steamboat Springs Colorado many Winters ago, think long skinny skis, one piece suits, new wave music.... Working with several sports photographers allowed Corey to experience the creative process first hand and after numerous photo shoots he soon discovered that capturing the images would become his calling. The shift from action figure to image maker was launched…

Over the next several years Corey photographed many of his fellow competitive winter athletes on editorial and commercial assignments. Eventually a friend requested him for their wedding (for free) and a whole new skill set ensued. With a strong desire to refine his craft and some professional direction portraiture became a full time pursuit. Eventually, he formed a great relationship with the Steamboat Magazine and spent ten years as their senior staff photographer creating numerous covers, feature stories and advertising pieces. For the last 15 years he has been pleasing clients in all areas portrait including the most complex emotion maker of all,  weddings. He excels at photographing in the outdoors and especially favors the mountain town wedding environments. Always bringing his positive outlook and vast awareness of local postcard perfect backdrops, he welcomes every new opportunity with open arms.

Corey is thankful to be blessed with a career that allows him to expand his creative vision and share it with the world. He consistently travels between Colorado and Utah fulfilling his clients requests, but will travel anywhere YOUR heart desires to create those epic moments from your "greatest day ever"!
